Geoffrey Hits the Big Leagues

Making Him into a Poster

GCode stuff

Resizing the boy once again to see what size I want.

Made him a bit smaller than the piece of paper I aim to use so that I can have some buffer/wiggle room.

Fix the sort curves

Fix the draw bed

Edited some values

Changed around the colours

Checking the code (NC Viewer).

Printing/Drawing

Okay, so this was a bit of a process since I'm fairly sure I was the first to draw after class (I did it before the break, and just before Peter sent an email saying there would be no support).
But I figured it all out myself and Geoffrey is glorious.

So, right off the bat...there were two major problems, the machine wouldn't move no matter what I tried and I couldn't see where to override the axis to move it around properly.
I looked it up and...I needed to move the motors away from the sensors because they were too close and the button to override the motors was under a different tab.

But, once everything was set up, I was able to draw.
Starting by zeroing the machine...

AAANNNDDD THEN....
I messed up...

I had been doing stuff and forgot to turn the jog rate down and then completely crushed my Sharpie.
Luckily I was able to push the nib back into place and everything was (mostly) fine.

Hopefully, the videos work.
If not...
Montage...

AND HERE HE IS!!!!

One thing I would like to note, that you probably saw in the second video, the red lines were so small that they overlapped quite a bit when drawing, so I would adjust that next time, but otherwise, I'm very happy with how things turned out.
He's beautiful.
